Matt & Claire | Amelia Island Wedding Photographer

Since it is a super rainy wedding day today, I was reminded of this lovely wedding last year at Oyster Bay Yacht Club in Amelia Island. Matt and Claire’s intimate wedding ceremony was moved indoors. Claire later said that it felt like they were in their own private little chapel. It suited them perfectly and ended up being even better than they imagined. I just loved the intimacy of the whole occasion and the wonderful, laid-back vibe of the venue itself.

Crosswater Hall Wedding Photographer | Collin & Kalie

This blog post (along with the next twenty or so) is so long overdue! I just loved working with Kalie and Collin. They are the sweetest people and we clicked immediately! From being born and raised in the south to our interest in children and education, Kalie and I just have so much in common. She and Collin are absolutely perfect for each other. It’s not everyday that you get to see the pure, sweet love that they have for each other.

I was so inspired by their soft and simple style that I took them to a friend’s farm and helped style their adorable and oh, so southern engagement session. It was featured on The Wedding Chicks’ site last year.

They wed at the beautiful Crosswater Hall at Nocatee. Their ceremony was outside beneath the bright and colorful palm trees. The ladies at The Conservatorie Floral and Event Design created their absolutely gorgeous florals. Kalie and Collin’s wedding was also featured on The Knot. You can check that out here.

And they lived happily ever after!

Ribault Club Wedding Photographer | Chance and Sarah

Though their event has long passed, I could not help but go back and re-live every sweet detail of Chance and Sarah’s perfect wedding day for this post. Their wedding was at the beautiful Ribault Club in Fort George Island. Though it’s not too far from Jacksonville, the Ribault Club’s beautiful scenery and sense of seclusion provides the feel of a ‘destination’ wedding. Adair Currie of Dairing Events helped Sarah plan every detail to a tee. Sarah’s sister lovingly referred to her as “wedding barbie” during her toast, to which Sarah just grinned and swayed side to side a little, letting her gorgeous dress swish back and forth. She really did seem like a princess and her groom, Chance was just so happy to be marrying the girl of his dreams. Their wedding was soft and elegant, but also so much fun! I could not be happier for these two!
Adair giving the signal- she is TOO cute.:)
Their cake, by Edgewood Bakery, was just flawless.
The girl who caught the bouquet just happened to have her father present and he wasn’t too crazy about the tradition of the garter-catcher using his teeth to put the garter on her…:)
